Band Bios
Angela - Vocals, Acoustic Guitar, Keetar
Originally from central Illinois, I have shared the stage with national artists including Joe Diffie, Lady A, Parmalee, Cole Deggs, Roy Clark, Van Zant, Neil McCoy, Rhett Akin, David Allan Coe, and many others! I started performing at the age of 12 at venues all over the Midwest and continued my music career through Tennessee and South Florida. I have had a passion for country music and love to write music in my spare time.
Dave - vocals, rhythm Guitar
Dave is Pensacola born and raised. A retired locomotive engineer and somewhat motorcycle gearhead. Growing up in a family of singers, he began playing and writing in 2011 after rediscovering guitar. It’s all music. Bring it from the heart. He writes and plays whatever comes to mind. Rulebook not required! He has gospel, blues, country, and rock roots, and you just might not know what he’ll play next with a powerful voice to back up whatever he decides to do. Presently, Dave has two singles out and a third pending. Storm Comin’, the blues-rock tinged Body Language, co-written with Rusty Budde and the forthcoming Ole Saint Joe (for the late legend Joe Gilchrist) also co-written with Budde. Dave has more releases planned for this year such as Alright By Me, Back Of My Hand, Careless and others so be looking for it! Dave says “write what you write—let it fall where it falls”.
Dakodah - Lead Guitar/Slide Guitar
A lifetime music lover that just decided to focus on learning how to play an instrument in my spare time while traveling at the beginning of my working career.
Ever since, learning and performing has been a great outlet for personal development, and a way of doing something I enjoy outside of my job with great people to show others to have a good time.
Home away from home is a battle scarred Tele or Strat with my Tone King Sky King and a honky tonk crowd.
James - Bass Guitar
As a native of Pensacola, I have a 29-year tenure playing all over the Gulf Coast to include Spring Fest (1997), Bay Fest (1998), and Jazz Fest (1999) to name a few. A graduate of Pensacola High School, I also played guitar in the Pensacola High School Jazz Ensemble under the direction of John Webb. I also have a background in recording and sound engineering from OWCC under the direction of Chuck Walthall. After a work incident claimed the tip of my index finger, I switched gears from playing guitar to bass. I strive to be a musician’s musician, playing for the trained ears in the crowd. Although original music always holds a place in my heart, playing covers has taught me to not just focus on notes and progressions, but the sounds and feelings that the original bassist was trying to convey. Its also taught me the importance of carving out my own sounds to stand out from the rest. When I’m not on stage, you can likely find me with bass in hand, perfecting my craft. Influences include John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin), Fran Sheehan (Boston), Robert DeLeo (STP), John Entwistle (The Who), and Tim Commerford (RATM). Current equipment includes three 5-string bass guitars; Ibanez SR605E and SR205, and a Schecter CV-5, Ampeg SVT-810E cabinet, Ampeg SVT-4PRO head, Zoom B1 four effects pedal, and an MXL A55 Kicker microphone to mic bass cabinet.
Peter - Vocals, Fiddle, Guitar
Born in New Jersey, I played Guitar and Fiddle in bands through my early 20's, until opportunity called with touring Country act, "Whiskey River", out of Moose Lake Minnesota. I spent the next 20 yrs playing every major Honky-tonk from New York to California, 300+ shows a year! I then relocated to Florida where I spend my days playing with top draw acts all over the South, including many venues on Broadway St. in Nashville with the Robert Abernathy Band and an Alabama Tribute band out of Birmingham. I uses - Fishman amps and L.R. Bags gear.
Dave aka d-mac: Percussion
Born and raised in north-central mississippi, my early influences included the delta blues and the “memphis sound” of soul and r & b. i started playing drums in 1968, and professionally gigging by 1970 with david joe turner. i relocated to nw alabama in 1971 so my influences shifted to southern rock. while at the university of alabama, i became interested in progressive rock (kansas, dixie dregs, yes, etc.) moving to the mobile area in 2006, my daughter was grown and i was no longer traveling for work. i reignited my music career and played in various bands (DT's, Mudbucket, false identity) touring the i-10 corridor.
